Nice photos - much better than the 'picture of big ben with lots of peoples heads at the bottom' which most of us will have.

And no pictures of Charles Kennedy - a waffler!

Stoping the war is not an option at this piont. You and all your anti-war friends need to remember that you are Americans. You have fellow Americans over there fighting for YOU! Support the Troops. All you people think that just because we are given the first amendemnt that you all can abuse it. People like you need to realize what you have in this country. If you don't like it or appreciate it, get the hell out! These Iraqi's, and like many other Middle Eastern Countries hate us for the reason that we have what they do not, Freedom. These bastards let the Al-Queda in their country so that thye can train to do what they did to our country. Just remember, there as a time that our country was not an empire and we were considered a poor nation. We came together and made it the way we did because that is what we, as Americans wanted. We came from the bottom. If we could do what we did, they can do the same. Its time for people like you to remember and realize what our for- fathers did to get us here. Rmemeber that people gave their LIVES, so that you can live the way you do. We can't help any nation unless they want us to help them. And don't use that excuse that everyone of you use about how we feed off other countries to do what we do, becasue that is bull shit!!! Those countries do the same thing that we do. We all feed off one another in some way. I'm proud to be an American, Maybe its time that you all get that pride back. Maybe its time you start loving and carrying for your fellow Americans. Remember 9/11, remember all the people that died for our freedom, and remember what this country gave to your ancestors and to you and me. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

first off I'm not American, I'm British and I live in London.
I'm not against the troops, in fact I'd rather they were not there in the first place, I'll be happy to see them home safe too. You mix up a variety of metaphors and seem to say that the troops are fighting to preserve the American way. Iraq is not a direct threat to the US, or to the UK. Saddam is a troublesome dictator of a country whose policies we don't like and he had a habit about 10 years ago of fighting wars with his neighbours, initially funded largely by US and european agencies, who were concerned about the Iranian revolution. This is not really about 911, that was fought and dealt with in Afghanistan, with the dispersal of the Al-Qaeda and the overthrow of the Taliban.
I'll be pleased when the war is over and thankful that there are not the tens of thousands of Iraqi dead that there were last time. Each Iraqi has a mother and family too, just like the people in 911.
I'll also be pleased if there is an independent Iraqi led democratic government in place by the summer, as that may actually calm the middle east down and not create more terrorists, which is one possible outcome of the US throwing its weight around in such a unilateral fashion.
